چکیده
An experimental-numerical methodology was proposed for the parameter identification of constitutive laws, when applied to hot forging. Industrial presses were directly used generate reference experiments identification. The strain and temperature heterogeneity that appears during on-press compression taken into account by an FE-based inverse method. Specific designed heat transfer friction coefficients. A testing tool instrumented with displacement sensors a force cell. This then on hydraulic press screw in order cover large range rates. identified set validated respect specialized plastometers, semi-industrial validation forging process. reasonable accuracy observed, particularly realistic conditions.

Micro-macro analysis of steel sheet behaviour in finite element simulations. Application to deep-drawing process
This paper presents a constitutive law based on Taylor’s model implemented in our non-linear finite element code LAGAMINE. The yield locus is only locally described and a particular interpolation method has been developed. This local yield locus model uses a discrete representation of the material’s texture. The interpolation method is presented and a deep-drawing application is simulated in or...
متن کاملFE-Based Analysis of Hot Forming Process Using the Flow Stress Prediction Model
In hot forming process, the workpiece undergoes plastic deformation at high temperature and the microstructure of the workpiece changes according to the plastic deformation. These changes affect the mechanical properties of workpiece. In order to optimize this process, both the plastic deformation of workpiece and its microstructural changes should be taken into consideration. Since material be...

متن کاملSimulation Of Phase Transformation In Hot Forging Dies During A Precision Forging Process By Means Of Finite- Element-Analysis
The Finite-Element-Analysis (FEA) is of major importance for the design and improvement of forging processes. In this field, FEA is traditionally used to predict die fill, residual stresses and forming forces. The intention of the work presented in this paper is the development of an advanced simulation model for the description of phase transformation processes in forging dies based on FEA. Th...
متن کاملPrediction of forging force and barreling behavior in isothermal hot forging of AlCuMgPb aluminum alloy using artificial neural network
In the present investigation, an artificial neural network (ANN) model is developed to predict the isothermal hot forging behavior of AlCuMgPb aluminum alloy. The inputs of the ANN are deformation temperature, frictional factor, ram velocity and displacement whereas the forging force, barreling parameter and final shape are considered as the output variable. The developed feed-forward back-prop...
